Exodus Homes Honor Cards Available Now!
Hickory, NC – Exodus Homes is proud to announce the launch of the 2024 Annual Honor Card, a unique and meaningful way to spread holiday cheer while making a difference in the community. Why spend $5 on a generic greeting card from the store when you can use that money as a donation that supports life-changing work? Each Exodus Homes Honor Card, available for just $5, carries a special message: the recipient is being honored through a donation made in their name to Exodus Homes.
“This holiday season, show your loved ones that you care by giving a gift that truly matters,” said Carol Vandergrift, COO/CFO of Exodus Homes. “Each card purchased helps us continue our mission of providing supportive housing and resources to homeless individuals in recovery as they transition back into the community.”
The Honor Card program is a cornerstone of Exodus Homes’ fundraising efforts, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to support the organization’s 73-bed supportive housing program. This faith-based United Way agency serves individuals returning from treatment programs, hospitals, prisons, jails, and homelessness, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
The 2024 Honor Card showcases artwork created by David Davis and the residents of Exodus Homes, reflecting the joy they experience from the support provided by the program. Thanks to the generosity of First Horizon Bank, which sponsors the production costs, Exodus Homes can offer these cards at no expense. “Buying an Honor Card isn’t just about sending holiday greetings,” Vandergrift added. “It’s about honoring someone you care about and extending that care to those who need it most.”
Community members can purchase cards for $5 each or make additional donations to further support Exodus Homes’ vital services. For those who wish to have cards mailed directly, order forms are available. The team at Exodus Homes will handle the mailing process, ensuring your holiday wishes are delivered with care.
Exodus Homes has been serving the community for decades, offering stable housing, recovery programs, and a path to self-sufficiency for individuals facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Each card purchased this holiday season contributes to the organization’s unwavering commitment to helping residents rebuild their lives and reintegrate successfully into society.
